After so long without the opportunity to perform live,, and so many plans changing constantly, it has been absolutely incredible to get back out and play! Over the last few weeks we've played 4 brilliant shows, given loads of songs from the Distance album their first public outings, and even got to see some ace bands and performers from the audience too!

We kicked off on the hottest day of the year at Helston Events Square. Debuting our new purple colour scheme we played a couple of hours of new and old material, and despite a raft of COVID related withdrawals we managed to put on a really strong showing. We were also treated to a bonus set from ex-Qube student and current Qube legend Alice Thacker, who stepped in for some of the people who had to isolate. Cheers Alice!

Next up we travelled up to Rock Oyster Festival, with sets on both the Saturday and Sunday mornings of the festival. It was so cool to be back at a festival surrounded by music fans enjoying themselves. We played completely different sets each day and even debuted some brand new unreleased songs from Sophie and Emily!

We finished the summer run with a showpiece set at Boardmasters Festival. The Distance-heavy set opened with the first ever full band live performance of Time Will Tell by Xenios and culminated in a knockout performance of Ruby's Poisonous. We then managed to catch the Snuts set on the main stage before we headed home. It was so good to finally get on stage at Boardies after so long and it was a great day.

Huge thanks to Dave in Helston, Caroline at Rock Osyter and Tanya and Chantelle at Cornwall Music Education Hub for all their support and faith over the summer, and we can't wait to be back next year!
