Our Christmas Mini-Tour is always one of my favourite days of the year and this year was one of the best ever!

We managed to squeeze in festive sets at Nancealverne School, Pengarth Day Centre, Frances Bolitho Care Home and @morrisons , and then of course our regular appearance at the Heamoor Residents Christmas Lunch which this year was at @stationhousemarazion

An evening of fully original live music from not only all 5 year groups at @mountsbayacademy but also an amazing performance from Newlyn School, and a showstopping headline set from @seviharvey_music and her amazing band!
Massive massive thanks to Richie, Steve and everyone at The Acorn for a really magical night, and to everyone who came out! Lots more photos and videos to come!

Today was @lauzabunda last day working with us as she goes off on a new adventure.

From being one of the original (and coolest) Qube parents to a fully fledged, essential member of the Qube family. 2 tours, lots of brownies, plenty of lemon soda and the odd swear. We could never have asked for a better mum, mentor, colleague and friend and we will all miss her immensely.

That being said, there are rumours of one more Qube adventure in the future, so it's not the VERY end just yet..

Anyway, here's to Laura. A true Qube Records legend. Say nice things about her in the comments!

Last weekend saw the return of 2 of Penzance’s musical heavy weights - bluegrass legends @flatsandsharps , featuring our very own Kirk Bowman, and the iconic venue @ritzpenzance ! The show sold out almost as soon as it went on sale, which made it even more exciting when a big Qube Records presence was added!
The show was opened with a truly stunning set from Tabitha of songs from her beautiful EP Labyrinth. Joined by her sister Poppy on piano, Lolabelle on guitar, singers Tess and Amelia and Runa on saxophone, the set was paced and performed immaculately and rightly earned a rapturous response from the capacity crowd. The girls were followed by an equally stunning set from Qube Records alumni and legend @senara.rendell , who paired songs from her recent album Love, In Spite Of It All with the song Miles Past Falling from 2019’s Five album!
The evening was of course closed by the triumphant return to the stage of Flats and Sharps who did not disappoint!
A huge thanks to everyone at the Ritz, Flats and Sharps and especially Kirk for getting Qube Records in on the fun, and we can’t wait to do lots more with both the band and the venue over the next 12 months!

The 11 minute long "The Ghost Suite" is the most ambitious and epic piece of music we've ever seen come out of our project and it is a truly monumental achieved by Sevi and her amazing band. Described at both regional and national stages of @musicforyouth as a masterpiece, performed everywhere from Birmingham Symphony Hall to @boardmasters. Our 2025 Song of The Year, Sevi with The Ghost Suite!

The day started off well watching @raye 's band sound checking on the main stage. Insanely tight and super inspiring to get to see in that context!
After some banging hash browns (cheers @hash_brown_town we love you) the band ran through the set of Carousel, Be Mine, Watching Her Go and of course The Ghost Suite! It was an almost flawless performance and rounded off an amazing year for the band. It was also their final performance for the foreseeable future, and what a way to bow out for now.

We are absolutely buzzing to be playing a very special show at @trewidden_garden_and_tearoom on Sunday August 3rd. It's going to be an amazing afternoon in an absolutely stunning setting, and we have some very special guests coming to play too! The evening will be headlined by Sevi and her band who'll be previewing the set they've prepared for their appearance at @boardmasters the week after!

There'll food and drink served on the lawn, what's not to love?!

We made it back from Birmingham with a good hour to spare before our next gig of the week! After 3 years of trying we finally played at the Rotary Club's Vintage Car Rally on our very own Penzance Prom! We had some stunning acoustic sets kicked off Ruby, Lucy, Darcie and a very tired Elodie fresh from her Birmingham @musicforyouth appearance the night before! After a set lovely 6 song set we had the return of Lily after an injury lay off! It was great to have her back! The afternoon was rounded off by Summer and Tess with a lovely batch of new songs and an impromptu but gorgeous duet from Lily J and Lily Mae to close!

We made it back from Birmingham with a good hour to spare before our next gig of the week! After 3 years of trying we finally played at the Rotary Club's Vintage Car Rally on our very own Penzance Prom! We had some stunning acoustic sets kicked off Ruby, Lucy, Darcie and a very tired Elodie fresh from her Birmingham @musicforyouth appearance the night before! After a set lovely 6 song set we had the return of Lily after an injury lay off! It was great to have her back! What a truly amazing time we have had at this year's @musicforyouth National Festival in Birmingham. Our 3rd consecutive year at the festival which is an achievement in itself, and in my opinion the best band, material, show and artist we have ever had. Sevi and the band were sensational again performing her 10 minute epic The Ghost Suite and it gets tighter and looser in all the right ways every time they perform it.
Awesome to see long time Qube friends @tomchapmanmusicuk and @katiechatburn who were very gracious to us as always, and to speak to so many people afterwards who wanted to share their positive feedback with Sevi and the band afterwards.
An enormous thank you to the absolute icon that is Kath for driving and just being an all round essential piece of the Qube family.
